BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG)

BOARD OF GOVERNORS (BOG) means the executive body of the CGTTI Alumni Australia is comprised of eleven lay members from former CGTTI full time students. These eleven lay members appointed by the Chairperson with the advice and consent of the CGTTI Alumni Australia Committee.

DELEGATES in the BOG  means the members represent as the delegates from their respective fields or groups elected  by the Board of Governors. Currently three delegates, one full time member of the CGTTI Moratuwa Sri Lanka with the rank of senior instructor or above,  one member from the Sri Lankan Public sector of the former student body in CGTTI Moratuwa Sri Lanka and one member from the Sri Lankan Private sector of the former student body in CGTTI Moratuwa Sri Lanka.

Board Meeting (Use of technology)

Unless otherwise determined by the  (BOG) Board, the Chair shall attend all meetings of the Board and its committees (Use of technology - Part 5 Rule 62), and have the right to speak, offer advice and otherwise participate in such meetings, except that the Chair shall not vote on any board matter.

Member of the Association

Member of the Association must supports the purposes of the Association. The purposes of the association are... Provision of assistance to institutes where members received their technical training as a mark of gratitude being to the Ceylon German Technical Training Institute Moratuwa (CGTTI) Sri Lanka. Conduct Support and Organising the Social and business affairs of CGTTI Alumni Australia Inc, as well as working together with CGTTI Moratuwa Sri Lanka and all other CGTTI Alumni associations around the world to make a Global forum. Promotion of the professional and educational activities Conduct Support and Organising of sports cultural and welfare activities for the members as well as Australians & Global Communities.

Rules of the CGTTI Alumni Australia Incorporated comprised with 77 Rules fit in to the five parts PART1—PRELIMINARY, PART2—POWERS OF ASSOCIATION, PART3—MEMBERS DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURES AND GRIEVANCES, PART4-GENERAL MEETINGS OF THE ASSOCIATION. (Note: The persons who from time to time are members of the Association are an incorporated association by the name given in rule 1 of these Rules. Under section 46 of the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, these Rules are taken to constitute the terms of a contract between the Association and its members.)
